Terms And Condition

All correspondence regarding tour/travel services and reservations should be addressed to DOOR TO TAJMAHAL.

BOOKING:

Once your booking has been confirmed a contract will be entered into with DOOR TO TAJMAHAL. A contract will be concluded between us once we have confirmed your tour/travel services and received the deposit amount from you.

PAYMENT:

For contracted services, a minimum deposit of 40% of the total price must be paid for  DOOR TO TAJMAHAL. A deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

BALANCE PAYMENT:

Once your booking has been confirmed a contract will be entered into with DOOR TO TAJMAHAL. A contract will be concluded between us once we have confirmed your tour/travel services and received the deposit amount from you.

Note:

In addition to the above, for special train travel bookings, hotel or resort bookings during peak seasons (Christmas, New Year, Pushkar Fair, Diwali, etc.), full payment is required at the time of booking. Even after paying a 40% deposit to confirm your booking, in some cases an additional deposit may be required prior to the final payment date, depending on contractor/supplier payment deadlines.

MODE OF PAYMENT:

International clients can make payment using any of the following methods:

  • Pay with RazorPay Online.
  • Pay with online credit card (American Express/Visa/Master Card/Discover/Diners Club).
  • Pay with online debit card (Master/Visa/Maestro).
  • Offline payment is possible with credit cards (American Express/Visa/Master Card/Discover/Diners Club).
  • Transfer by bank to our bank account.

Note:

If you pay by credit/debit card, an additional 3% bank fee will be charged to the total amount. All payments must be free of taxes or deductions. Bank fees for transfers (remitting bank or intermediary bank) are borne in full by the payer.

SPECIAL NOTE:

DOOR TO TAJMAHAL staff or agents will never ask you for your card number, CVV, Net Banking login, password, OTP etc. Additionally, we will not ask you to transfer funds to your personal account or install any third-party applications such as Any Desk, TeamViewer. etc. Please do not respond to such requests. Please report these incidents to travel@doortotajmahal.com.

POLICY REGARDING CANCELLATION / NO SHOW / EARLY DEPARTURE:

Each tour has its own cancellation policy, which is listed on each tour description page. Cancellations below only apply to tours that do not have a cancellation policy on the description page. If any tour is cancelled, the cancellation policy will be stated on the description page. For tours without a cancellation policy in the details section, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • 60 days prior to arrival – 10% of tour/service cost.
  • From 59 days to 30 days prior to arrival – 20% of tour/service cost.
  • From 29 to 15 days prior to arrival – 25% of tour/service cost.
  • 14 days before 8 days of arrival – 50% of tour/service cost.
  • 7 days prior to arrival or no show – no refund.

REFUND:

For refunds for unused/unused services (advance payment and cancellation), the refund amount will be calculated according to the cancellation policy above and refunded to the person who paid. Us. Please note that it may take 2-4 weeks for your refund to be processed due to banking procedures. If you refund by credit card or bank account, the bank fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

MANDATORY IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS:

All guests (foreigners, NRI nationals, Indian nationals) must present a photo ID upon confirmation of reservation. The documents listed below are applicable to various categories.
For foreigners, a copy of passport and visa is required.
For Non-Resident Indian Customers (NRI Customers) – Copy of passport.
For foreign customers from India holding an OCI/PIO card, a copy of passport and a copy of the OCI/PIO card are required.
For domestic customers – a copy of your Aadhar Card/driver’s license/voter ID/passport is required.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE POLICY:

Check-In Timings: 1200 – 1500 Hours

Early check-in is subject to availability. To guarantee early check-in, reservations must be made the night before.

Check-Out Timings: 1000 – 1200 Hours

Late check-out is possible upon request and is subject to availability/payment.

EXTRA USAGE OF VEHICLE:

Please note that the cost of additional use of vehicles (passenger car/bus including driver) is not included in the service, so additional use of the vehicle is not possible after transfer or sightseeing.

OUR LIABILITIES AND LIMITATIONS:

Please be cautious if the government increases monument/museum entrance fees, taxes, fuel fees or guide fees after the tour/service fee has been confirmed. In India, additional charges apply as well.

Door To Tajmahal rates are based on current rates negotiated by hotels, airlines, etc. Hotels and airlines reserve the right to change rates without prior notice. In the event of such a change, the rates quoted by us prior to the change may be subject to change in accordance with any changes made by the hotel or airline.

Door To Tajmahal and its associates acts only in the capacity of an agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & the contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us – are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them. The tickets, coupons or passage contract in use by carrier / hotel or other contractors rendering services shall constitute the sole contract between the Clients and such contractor.

Door To Tajmahal – itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. Door To Tajmahal reserves the right to amend any aspect of the itinerary including transportation and accommodation without notice in the interest of the trip, participants’ safety, comfort and general well-being without making any rebate, allowance or refund and extra cost, if any, would be payable by the client.

Door To Tajmahal shall not be responsible for any delay or change in program or expenses incurred or special / consequential loss, injury and damage – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures, acts of God, perils incident to the sea, floods, fire, acts of Government or any other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, riots, theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control or any untoward incidents or any such causes whatsoever including any liability or extra expenses sustained by the Clients. Further, the Clients shall be liable for the liability or extra expenses incurred by him / her as a result of the forgoing causes.

Door To Tajmahal shall not be responsible and shall not accept any liability towards the Clients or his/her legal representative for any loss of property or damages resulting from death or injuries including loss of services which the Clients may sustain on account of act, negligence or default by any transportation Company, hotel agents or any other body of persons, its agents or service providers providing such services or facilities or arising out of or while engaged in any tour, means of transportation or other services, whether due to ownership, maintenance , use, operation or control of any automobile, bicycle, boat, motor, or other vehicle in common carrier or otherwise and whether due to its or there negligence or otherwise or regardless of how caused. Clients using sporting equipment, bicycles, sailing boats, scuba diving gear, hired or supplied by hotels or rental bodies shall do so at their own risk.

Door To Tajmahal do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.

Door To Tajmahal reserves the right to cancel any services in case it deems that the tour, trip or passage is impracticable for any reason or should circumstances warrant such action, upon refunding the value thereof and the Client shall not have any other or further claim against the company by any reason thereof.

Door To Tajmahal reserves the right to refuse to carry out its contract with any person whom it may consider to be undesirable in its absolute discretion and it shall not be required to show any reason for doing so.

FORCE MAJEURE:

Any dispute arising from this contract or any subsequent contract will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Agra.

JURISDICTION CLAUSE:

Any dispute arising under this Agreement or any subsequent Agreement shall be resolved only in the Courts of Agra.
